Behind Driver Storage

Hi all,

So I am in the process of converting my van. Carpeting and bed etc done.

I will soon have an L shape set up from van furniture for the bed.

I am trying to find options for what can go in the gap behind the driver seat before the bed. I don't want to have a hob nor sink. Just storage for bike bits etc and an area to cook on with a cadac 2 pro.

The added complication is my control panel for battery is on the panel below the window. So I need something that is modular or easily modified.

Has anyone put something together for this area? Most kitchen pods seem to have cooking options and I just want a storage unit.

Could you just buy their basic kitchen unit, and not install a hob/sink/fridge, just use as a worktop

...so I prioritised a fridge for post ride beers, but also doubles as a seat, table and some storage....

You're carry some weight with the brick wall as a side panel!

I didnt like the twin sliding door so had it bricked up . no

I tried Evo before and was disappointed with the quality. Came scratched and bashed to heck and it was packaged quite well...so im guessing it left their factory like that!

Didn't have an issue with the kitchen pod I built for mine last year but I did pick that kit up directly.
