Awning rail vs wind out awning

Hi all, hoping for some pointers as I can’t see the answer in any other threads.
I’m wanting to install an awning rail to my t6.1 and had pretty much settled on the idea of one in the gutter (with some slight mods to accommodate for the pop top mechanism - can’t remember who posted their method but thanks for that).
My issue is that in the longer term I’d like to have the option of adding a wind out, and if I’m understanding rightly most of the mounting brackets (fiamma, Thule etc) also mount to the gutter.
So, does anybody have any advice, suggestions or links to a thread I’ve missed to show how I can do a wallet friendly rail for now and upgrade further down the line?
Thanks!

Consider getting a Reimo rail instead.

The Fiamma can use this for it's install so the money wouldn't be wasted.

Reimo or Vamoose rail, Fiamma F43 windout awning which can use the rail for the fitment (as well as a bolt in the side of the van) whilst allowing for a poptop.

Thanks guys, appreciate the insight. Didn’t want to make a short sighted purchase and regret it once I’d drilled some holes and lathered adhesive all over!
