Auto Folding Wing Mirrors

WOW WOW WOW @Adams you are a legend !!! This is working for me this morning i cannot believe it .
I have entered your coding into my modules, lock the doors nothing but lock doors and hold finger on the lock button for a second and the mirrors fold. Mirrors dont unfold on unlock but when key is in the ignition.
which part of the coding did you change,

which part of the coding did you change,

I changed just the coding 1500B3 and 0400A3, held the windows buttons down all the way and then up all the way and hey presto !!

So this coding is the holey grail?

Looks like it !
Just remember to make a note of original coding before changing incase it doesnt work or screws anything
This coding is for L modules as other variations may exist, also the full code probably wont be needed just the relevant part of it so would be good to figure out the exact digit that needs changing

Did you code just the main unit or any of the subsystems?
I have very similar coding with just a couple or subtle difference, trying to work out which specific bits..
my J386/7s are rev Q

I just did the two subsystem codes as per Adams codes, thats all.

I'm going to take a punt and A1 goes to A3 and B1 to B3

Subsystem 2 - Part No SW: 7E0 959 801 Q HW: 7E0 959 801 Q Labels: 7E0-959-801.CLB

Coding: 1400B1 becomes 1400B3

Component: J387__TSG_BT 003 0653

Coding: 0400A1 becomes 0400A3

Mine folding on the key working now:thumbsup: all I changed was the number 3 and reset the one touch window switches. Resetting the windows is the key to it working.

You mean theres something more important that making mirrors fold on key......
It's a close call but my Father might have had a stroke! waiting for an update from mother... :)

Sorry mate, doesnt seem so funny anymore
Its fine, not much I can do from here... its one of those, don't do server upgrades on a friday and don't reprogram the car the day before your holiday or important trip :)

Very good news :D, very made up it's now finally working on a T6!!

So - definitely works on a T6 with L revision door modules

Specific part of the coding is byte2 bit1, so this means adding 2 to your last digit, in most cases it makes it a 3
