I had a Storm Pop top fitted by Cosmic Campers 14 months ago and they gave us a gift pack containing a wash bag, 2 bamboo tooth brushes some shower gel and these 2 objects one being a small ruler with bottle opener and small spanner and a curved serrated edge at the end I don’t know what the serrated edge is for.
Also there is a wooden piece with a metal round bar fitted on the end what is this for?

Spot on Trouts! Ferrocium rod fire steel and the serrated bit of the ruler is the bit you scrape hard and fast along the black Ferrocium rod to make sparks!
Mind your carpet if you have any!

They are a great way to light a gas flame, meths stove, cotton wool for fire starting, scraped up fluffy birch bark etc etc. Work when wet, last for ages. If the serrated ruelr doesn't work too well the sharp 90 degree edge of the back of a knife works very well or if you don't care about the knife, the sharp edge of the blade itself works very well.
