Any VCDS users in Norfolk?

Hi guys

I’ve just bought a T6 and would really like to get the large speedo mod done to my instrument cluster.

Is there anyone with VCDS in the Norwich area able to help with this please?

Cheers!

I think Carista can do this. Convenient and fairly cheap.

Thanks RunDSG - I’ll look into it..
Of course, my fear is that I’ll completely feck my electronics if I dabble myself, but I might surprise myself!!
I hear ya!

With Carista, you can't really break anything. You can view and reset fault codes, and there are a few relatively harmless customisations. No real coding, like Vagcom.

An older thread, but only recently needed access to VCDS in the east and discovered SMS in Great Yarmouth. T6 is in next week to delete the main beam warning triggered by THQ H1 LEDs. I believe Clive Atthowe in Norwich can also code via VCDS, as can Das Auto. Despite my best efforts, I cannot find this function in Carista, nor in Beta. Carista could give no indication of when it might be available.

Any body in the north Norfolk area got or use a vcds tool that may be able to help me out ???

Hi all, cant seem to get the VCDS Map up and working correctly, Im expecting to need this facility in Norfolk after fitting some rear speakers next weekend and couldnt find any VCDS capability for hundred+ miles. Im hoping this isnt exectly the case and would be honoured and very grateful (beer/wine) to hear from anyone local who can help?

It looks like the last nearest user was @Pag (but even he was over in Cambs) however he sold his van and hasn't been online for a few years.

I would try some local converters, and then any VW / Audi specialist garages - they are likely to have a VCDS lead.

I am in south Essex if it comes to that.

Thanks Ads, I will chat to my local independent VW garage who will be able to help me out without the need to take any shirts off hopefully.
