Had same problem on my T6 VW sat nav. Andy was brilliant had a diagnosis the day he received my unit with a quote and offered some upgrades including new maps and carplay and voice which I took. Great value. Even helped out after when the carplay would not work due to VW not fitting the correct USB socket from new. All sorted now very happy. I will confirm and back up the last two comments, my touch screen failed and I went to visit Andy during the week ,got Screen replaced as well as full updates on my maps and software .

After the touchscreen stopped working on our T6 we found Andy sat nav’s uk on the forum. We was a little apprehensive at first about sending such an expensive unit to someone in the post, however it turned out to be the best thing we could have done. After a couple of conversations with Andy he advised that we send it via Royal Mail special delivery for the extra cost, I would definitely recommend it. It was returned to us as good as new within a week and at a cost that we had originally agreed on. We highly recommend using Andy, we felt it was in safe hands.

My head unit had been playing up and the touchscreen had failed so searched on here and found Andy came highly recommended. I had my screen replaced and various upgrades including voice control, maps updated, DAB radio icons and music added to media card etc. Andy provided clear details on the upgrades and also the packaging details for dispatch. Before I knew about the DIY repair I had Ingleby Electronics repair mine. However had I known about the DIY method I would have had a go having been into such things when I was at work.
Ingleby Electronics also supplied me with a new larger SD card for the satnav updates.

How much did they charge im not far from them thanks

My touchscreen stopped working down the right hand side. I took it to Andy (07788 988178 Huddersfield HD8) and he replaced the touchscreen and applied a series of upgrades - maps, Carplay & voice control. Great communication throughout and changes applied as promised. Happy to recommend.

No sorry mate, it's good while ago and the T6 has moved on to be replaced by a LWB MAN TGE.

I think mine was just over £200 for screen, software update and crack all features open and new maps. Mind you this was 2yr ago and I've slept and drunk a lot since then

I’ve just had my screen done by Andy after finding him via this post. Great service and quick, very professional, I would recommend him to anyone else having the same problems, he can also offer updates on the systems too, which is great.

Exactly Mark-VW-T6 said. Andy just did a great job for me. Fixed my totally dead touchscreen and brought me into 2025 with updates and Apple CarPlay. Would highly recommend giving Andy a call.

Hello All, I recently contacted Andy using the mobile number in this forum. I had a failing touch screen and the inbuilt VW satnav clock error. Andy talked me through the process of removal. I posted the unit off and received it back promptly yesterday with a new screen, software upgrades including latest maps and unlocked Apple car play as well as a USB socket replacement to allow the CarPlay to pass through. Andy also supplied a USB dongle to allow car play to work without a cable. Andy then talked me back through what was a straight forwards re install and all worked off the bat.
