Alpine - SPC-W84AT6-2

Hi All,

This will be a stupid question for those who know, so, go easy.

I've installed a Halo 11, its excellent. I've managed to keep all the factory fit items (USB, E-call, Microphone, GPS, DAB Antenna, FM Antenna).

All working great. I've now added the DSP Amplifier, and SPC-W84AT6-2. That is all working as well. Installed under passenger seat, very happy - but, my question is this.....the amplifier is connected to a 12V permanent live (found a spare under passengr seat).

The instructions say to do it this way, or connect direct to battery, point is, it is a permanent live, not an ignition live - so, what stops the battery from being drained?

Is it only 'on' when the Halo is running, or ignition is on? Or, is there a setting in Halo I need to change?

I might be overthinking this.....

Help / Confirmation would be very helpful. Thanks.

Thanks. Do you know if its possible to run rear speakers from the amp, by connecting directly to it, as opposed to the rear of the head unit?

Any wiring diagram available any where?

Yes will run rears. Best to pin the qualdock plug for rears , keeps it neat

When you look at the alpine loom- purple = rear right + , purple/black = rear right - , green = rear left + , green/black = rear left -

I have purchased and installed the SPC-W84AT6-2 from Alpine.
I have added recommended S2-S65 speakers to the rear quarters behind the wheel arch.
The head unit is the factory MIB3 unit.
The rear speakers have no Bass whatso ever, anyone else had the same issue ??

Seems I have wasted a lot of money :(

Hi,
I have the same issue with my t6.1
I have added S2-S65 rear speakers and they play like tweeter almost...

Hey folks, attempting to fit an Alpine Halo 11, E-Call retention kit & a Mosconi Pico amplifier. Just laying it all out and I can't figure out how to interface between the Halo & the Pico ? Am I missing a cable to come out of the Halo's pre out to connect this to the inputs of the Pico ?

I'm assuming in regards to the speakers that I just need to remove the brown block from the main quad lock connector that sits behind the standard radio unit and connect that up to the black on the Pico loom also?

Any help would be much appreciated as it's my first go at this kinda thing. :)

Jake
