Hi All,
This will be a stupid question for those who know, so, go easy.
I've installed a Halo 11, its excellent. I've managed to keep all the factory fit items (USB, E-call, Microphone, GPS, DAB Antenna, FM Antenna).
All working great. I've now added the DSP Amplifier, and SPC-W84AT6-2. That is all working as well. Installed under passenger seat, very happy - but, my question is this.....the amplifier is connected to a 12V permanent live (found a spare under passengr seat).
The instructions say to do it this way, or connect direct to battery, point is, it is a permanent live, not an ignition live - so, what stops the battery from being drained?
Is it only 'on' when the Halo is running, or ignition is on? Or, is there a setting in Halo I need to change?
I might be overthinking this.....
Help / Confirmation would be very helpful. Thanks.
