Ad blue reset ?

Did you fill it with the correct quantity requested on the dash display?

What did it ask for and how much did you put in?

Take it for a drive. Sometimes my rest takes a while but taking it for a drive gets the reset going. My experience as anyway.

Thanks for the reply. The dash said 2.75 gallons but I Might have put a bit much in. I have managed to get some out and done about 200 miles since, motorway and around town but it's down to 550 till no start and not reset. Was counting down fine till the 1000 warning. Get a bit of clenched buttock syndrome now.

You might need to suck some more out.

The sensor is ultrasonic at the bottom of the AdBlue tank and when you overfill it the filler neck fills up with liquid.

As you start driving the liquid in the filler neck starts dropping down but the ultrasonic sensor doesn't see the overall tank level dropping so it flags a fault.

What's the level of AdBlue is down below the filler neck the sensor should start detecting the drop in fluid as you're driving you might still have too much in there?

Don't waste your time mate trying to pump it out.

If your remaining range doesn't reset itself after another descent drive you need to reset the system manually via BASIC SETTINGS procedures(level reset & lock reset).
Both are very simple and can be done using VCDS or OBD11.
