VCDS pre-code fault scan!

Dear all!,

Your help is appreciated! As I wrote in my first post a week or 2 ago , I recently purchased a 2017 Multivan TDI 150HP DSG. I changed the headlamps to H7, added Front Fog lights. In addition I did (my very first) coding related to those items using VCDS. I'm totally new to VW (my other car is a Volvo XC90T8)
So far so good….or I thought…..

Only after all that I realised that I should have made a full scan and system backup first …. call me a stupid foreigner(!) …..but I did not…..
So instead I did that scan only today …. and unfortunately found some messages (please see later) -> PANIC!

I don’t know if these faults already existed before my ‘work’ or not. I tried to reset, but they won’t go away…. Now as it is still under warranty (by the dealer, not by VW) for a few more weeks I would like to sort these asap.

- Could I have caused these faults (e.g. when installing the wires in the BCM or by accidently upsetting the code somewhere)?
- Are these 3 items related ?
- What can I do?
- Strange: The date in de message is in the year 2032……. Is that the car’s system date? Can that be corrected in any way?

For your info : There are no warning lights on the dashboard, setting the tyre pressure seems is accepted by the system and confirmed with a beep. The car runs absolutely fine, no issues there.

Thank you for any suggestions, help, guidance etc.

Best regards from the (rainy) Netherlands

Address 65 should not be present ?
If you have added this then you should go back in and remove it, to do this go into the can gateway module 19, click on installation list then untick box 65 and save it

this will hopefully clear both fault codes

I didn’t think direct TPMS was available on transporter. If your van is not supposed to have it, go to the CAN gateway and remove the tick from 65 Tire Pressure in the installed gateway list

VCDS has logged all the changes in directory C:\Ross-Tech\VCDS\Debug
There are two files, one for coding changes "CodingLog.CSV" and one for adaptation changes "AdpLog.CSV".

Original codings & adaptations are - obviously - on the first line for each module, e.g.

That is handy to know..i always scan/backup before making a change...but its good to have another means of reviewing the changes.

All sorted! Thank you all very much for your contributions! A bit of a steep learning curve...…., but very happy now!

Thanks again!
