3 way speakers in door / A pillar in the California?

The 2018 California comes with 8 speakers as standard, 2 in the back which leaves 3 in the front.

1 Tweeter in A Pillar
1 Mid(?) in door
1 Bass speaker (?) in door

Does anyone know what sizes these are exactly, or a way to find out? To save me taking the door panel off.

They are both in the door.

Mid bass is 6.5"
Mid is 3"

If you look at the grille closely you'll see where they sit.

Don’t suppose you know if an 8” mid bass speaker will fit with the collars that most people use?

Resurrecting this as both in the thread should know the answer to my question.

I've not had my own T6 door cards off yet but looked at loads of pictures and can't see where the mids would mount. Will the mounting position be there in a T6 Kombi?

Your kombi door card will probably look like the first one ............look at the grill close and you will see the difference for 1 or the 2 speakers.

Yep, upper part of grill isn't perforated . A night in front of the telly with a dremmel and a 1mm bit could solve that though.
Any idea if the mounting point is present with in the door or is the inside different too?
Is the wiring for this simply branched off the bass speaker in the door?

While I'm at it, at what point does the treble wiring branch off? Is it a permanent join (soldered) or is there a connector?
