Hey all,
I’m looking to return my 2018 VW Transporter T28 Trendline TDI (SWB) back to its original suspension setup. It’s currently on aftermarket coilovers which cause me more issues than they’re worth.

Any ideas of how much I should be expecting or any guidance on best ways (places?) to go about it? Anything I should be thinking about? Im based in Manchester.

Advice gratefully received!

I’d try Steve @CRS Performance .

I like the standard height for various reasons so kept my OE springs and had Koni special active shocks fitted by CRS. Definitely better ride and control than the OE shocks.

Can’t remember what I paid and besides it was a few years back so best bet is give them a call. You may even get normal ride height springs thrown in as lots of people go there to have their van lowered leaving OE springs as ‘waste’ even with limited mileage on. Worth an ask.

Thanks! In honesty I am looking at selling the van, and I every MOT has called out the front struts. The van also sits with a negative camber and I get ridiculous tyre wear. Feels as though changing things out is the right thing to do, and equally make it more saleable. But that’s just my thoughts…

My van is a late 2022 T28 SWB and in April, with only 4900 miles on the clock, I replaced the OEM Suspension with Bilstien B14 Komforts. I have the OEM springs and shocks in a box in the garage. I’m not 100% the T6.1 set up is tha same as yours, but it very well might be.

Are these still available
Cheers

I decided to keep them for when I eventually sell the van, or perhaps need them, sorry.
