17" Caravelle budget wheels thoughts?

My Caravelle wheels are a state, really bad. Suggest to me a good and cheap black wheel option, and good winter'ery/four season tyre please so I can go and look at. I like a more off-road look.

Do you mean damaged paint or smashed about? If just a few scratches why not get your current wheels powder coated black?

corrosion missing paint etc, quite a mess. I thought I would leave it until next year, but not sure I can wait they are that bad. Like your idea though and found one locally. I will give them a ring. TVM

There may be local companies that repair or refurbish alloys. I've used one to get a wheel which had a slight buckle on the inner rim fixed and refinished.
