Agree, those things are amazing. Once you’ve sealed the van for the night, put that thing on and it’ll happily zap any annoying midges and suchlike that are waiting to ruin your night…

I have one of those outdoor revolution ones. Aldi were doing them recently. As for killing flies, that gun may be fun, but these are the dogs. Even better when you chase the wife around the house with it.

When it comes to flies, simples is best and if it's sport you're after, nothing beats a good strong elastic band - good for kills up to 10ft or more. The only thing is that you need to be careful where they are sitting when you get them as they tend to splatter when hit a closer ranges. This is my weapon of choice:
