Hi, I have a 2019 Camperking conversion and the lead acid battery is on its last legs. I want to upgrade to Lithium and while I'm at it add an inverter.
I have rummaged around the van and found I have the following:
CBE CB516 charger which is fed from the 240V distribution board.

240V distribution board is fed from EHU and feeds 2 sockets.

CBE Charger outputs into a CBE 12V Distribution Board

DC-DC charger is a Sterling Power unit

My plan is to:
change the configuration of the Sterling charger to match the new lithium battery.
Replace the CBE charger with a Victron Multiplus 2
Replace the failing lead acid battery with a Lithium battery.
I think the Multiplus 2 should sit between the EHU and feed into the 240v distribution board.
What about the battery connection? Currently the CBE charger connects via the 12v distribution board, I'm assuming the Multiplus should connect directly to the battery? Is that correct?
I therefore remove the connection to from the CBE charger to the 12V distribution board and assume I leave the connection from the 12v distribution board to the battery in place?
I'm also assuming I need to put some kind of protection between the EHU and Multiplus to protect it from bad power, or does it have this built in?
What have I missed?
Thanks
