Hi. I'm after some help from the experts out there!
I have a camperking conversion and wish to upgrade my battery to a Victron 12,8v/100Ah SuperPack. Currently housing a 110Ah gel which isn't holding charge anymore. Lithium battery is on order. Van has a hookup which feeds the charger via a 240v breaker unit, which then seems to feed the 12v goods via a 12v breaker unit. Hook up also feeds a 240v socket on the worktop and (I think) a water pump via the 240v breaker unit. I'm not sure what the standalone clear fuse box protects but it has two green fuses fitted top and bottom.
I need to replace the charger and am looking at the Victron Blue Smart IP22 12v leisure charger.
My question - is it a straight swap for the CBE CB-516 charger or are other changes required? I think the wiring from hook up diverts the 240v socket/pump supplies before sending 240v to the charger so seems to handle all the 240v via the 240v breaker before it sends to charger - all 12v happens after the charger - seems straight swap but want to check.
The MPPT you'll see fitted is not factory fit - This is my own messy work and has been working fine for past five years taking a 100w solar panel supply and also charging to battery.
Thanks!!
