I've used a Travelvolts pre-made loom to install a new Cruise 65 fridge. I'm not including an isolator switch, so cabling straight from leisure battery with in line fuse. The instructions from travel volts say remove the supplied power wires and unplug the piggy back positive, connecting it to a small red wire on the power loom positive. The instructions are generic though and on this fridge there is also a piggy back wire from the controller to the neg/earth. There is no connection for this on the Travelvolts loom, but there is a spare connection marked earth on the fridge power unit. Am I correct in plugging the thin black wire that was piggy backed to the power cable negative (now removed), onto that spare port?
So, on the photo below, the larger connectors at the top are on the Travelvolts loom, with the positive piggy back cable attached. The thin black negative from the controller on the left (was piggy backed to the original neg/earth) is now plugged in, fifth space down (darker blue)
Will it explode, or will my craft New England 'flowery wank brew' chill delightfully..........??
