Wireless reversing camera problem.
I have fitted a wireless reversing camera to the T6 back door, and ran the wires to the rear light cluster. I have also fitted the front receiver to my Road Angel head unit, All good.
I connected the Transmitter red wire to the Green/Black wire ( reversing light) and the black to the Brown ( negative ) of the rear light wiring. When I turn ignition on and put into reverse all works as should, and see the image on the head unit. The problem I have is if I start the van and put into reverse it does not work. I have checked and double checked everything and now at a loss. I have disconnected the rear transmitter wires and got the wife to start van and put into reverse, Used a 12v battery to feed rear transmitter and it works. but again tried to piggyback
the wiring loom it fails to work. Can anybody shed some light here?

I don't know if you've sorted this out or not?
I had exactly the same issue as this, I was really happy when I first put it in reverse with just the ignition on a well!

I've ended up buying a relay and wiring that in! Lucky for me there was a couple of wires thrown in by whoever did the conversion. I've used the reverse light feed as the switch for the relay and have an ignition feed on the other side of the relay, and I can confirm that all works perfectly! I bought 2 relays complete for £8 so wasn't too bad I didn't think.
