Which low-mid range lithium battery?

Fogstar Drift 105Ah ordered today along with a 150A 58V terminal fuse block for starters.

As for solar been looking at these Renology ShadowFlux panels 120w or 200w

Undecided on going CTEK D250SA route for compact unit or Victron MTTP controller and Orion charger any advice on which ones as I have no plans for EHU or inverter.

I would definitely avoid the Ctek, mine lasted less than 2 years. Victron all the way.

With future in mind, a victron xs50 and mppt 100/20. Very happy with mine. The xs50 doesn't get hot like it's smaller siblings, and the 100/20 mppt is great up to 270 watt panels, you won't need to upgrade them. Fit and forget indeed with so much knowledge of both on the forum.

…and you don’t get Bluetooth & an app with the Ctek. So it’s all guess work as to what’s going on. Plenty of folk on here have had issues with Ctek kit.

Am I correct in thinking no need for ignition feed when using Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/12V 30A Non-Isolated DC-DC Charger

Not absolutely necessary, you can use the engine running detection feature, I tried it and wasn’t happy with the functionality, it was a bit of an unknown quantity. So I went down the ignition live route and am happier for it.
