Indeed! I wouldn't fancy taking a van with some chin spoiler up there, but if that's what floats peoples boat then fair do's. It's a broad church.

Currently in Limone Piemonte in Northern Italy. Arrived this afternoon after a lengthy drive down from Dunkirk. Hitting the slopes tomorrow. Just had a stroll around the very pretty town for a pre prandial beer.

Got on the snow today, first time in two years. It all came back and we were soon in the groove. Just like falling off a bike.
The Apres Ski is good too.

I picked up a Fordsvagen Transaddy Maxonnect !

And yes it is a hybrid but the smaller 1.5 petrol not the 2.5 that comes in the custom/T7

Down to the convertors today to discuss a way forward, already have a quote for sound deadening/insulation and carpet lining, however I needed to add in electrics cost and a fiamma, originally was just going with a forty winks bed, but now very tempted by a mobiframe, in the past I've had an RIB bed in previous van I always felt it was too high and not particularly comfortable. I've already agreed a price for the kombi seats, wont have the cost of the 40 winks, sorely tempted.....

decided to go with the mobiframe addition after all and its due into convertors, end of March

I was brought up in that area many moons ago, at the time I never truly appreciated the tranquil nature of the place, preferring to go to Gloucester or Bristol, but alas I moved away a few decades back.

The way estate agents in particular claim to have "idyllic edge of Cotswold location" on new properties near Brackley here in Northamptonshire then I'm sure you'll be back in the Cotswolds soon enough.

Had a funeral to attend in North Yorkshire today so rather than have a tiring drive back north, we have pitched up at a Campra Aire at Hudswell near Richmond. Tucked away down a private lane with field views apparently (its dark), water, dog walks. All for a tenner

Hardwick Hall Country Park, for a dog walk and brew. Great spot just off the A1 south of Durham for a rest up. £2.50 for parking, decent dog friendly cafe and nice walks around a lake.....
