Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

IMG_7015.webpAway for a long weekend in Devon. Staying at browns farm campsite just outside Exeter.

It’s basic but ok. It’s a working farm so there are some very fresh aromas coming from the nearby barn.

Using the mini canopy again and I must say it’s working a treat despite the heavy wind and rain yesterday

@cgtmiles - those 'fresh aromas' are just natures way of clearing the nasal passages. Tell us more about the mini canopy please.

Been using the van loads recently for mountain biking trips all over North Yorkshire and the peak district but keep forgetting to take pics.
It's great to come back to the van, fire the heater up and then get changed and dried and make a drink.
Did a ride over Baslow way on Tuesday and then from Castleton on Friday.
Took my milk frother on Friday and it made a fantastic hot chocolate powered using the Bluetti.IMG_9543.jpeg
Riding Castleton way again on Monday, I’ll try to remember a pic for that one lol

This is the canopy bought secondhand on the forum. Great little thing but a bit weird

Had an overnighter in York on Friday night. Parked up on the Knavesmire with lots of other vans and motorhomes and had a wander into town for some hospitality....
We were suppposed to be in York tonight, but Mrs.G broke a tooth in the night and we had to cancel so she can see the dentist tomorrow morning 😢

Instead, we popped up to Glasson Dock (Lancs) to the Port of Lancaster Smokehouse to get some Xmas gifts. Weirdly, when we got back in the van for a coffee, and with our smoked goodies on board, the smoke alarm went off for no discernible reason 🤔

This should be, 'Where are you going in your van tomorrow'.
Gloucestershire, Lydney to be precise, for our 20th welding anniversary.
We've been there before in our camping days.
First trip out for Flo, the withdrawn guide dog black lab, weather forecast is dreadful, roof down at midnight to avoid the 40mph+ winds and heavy rain, but quite mild temperatures!
Hardstanding booked!
What could go wrong?!!
Quite excited really!
Perhaps the odd photo to follow tomorrow..

Went to the Xmas Market in Bath for the weekend, very busy plus Bath rugby were at home as well but very good . Stay in C&CC camp site in Devizes. Had an interesting bus ride home - fastest bus journey we ever had, 55mph on country roads, driving on opposite side of the road on corners, pitch black. You know it was bad, people were talking to each other about it when we got off 😁 Maybe lando's brother
