Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Bollocks. I spoke too soon. The ramp is broken so we can’t offload. All the cars on my deck and above will have to turn around to get to a lower deck. We have been told it will take a while.

There are a lot of vehicles with trailers and caravans on this deck which look like they’ll have to reverse along narrow lanes if they can’t manage a turn at the front!

Don’t forget that since you’ve got so much power left in the Roamer you could use that to push some charge into the Bluetti if you have a 10A power (cig) socket.

Yep I’ve got the bluetti on charge now, I’d fitted an SAE type socket wired to the output of the victron smart solar. AC180 says its getting 110w in

To correct my overly ambitious post above - that should have said 150w solar

Not that I wouldn’t like 500w 😂 As soon as I plugged the bluetti in to charge the sun went and hid behind clouds for the rest of the day

How has it been? Away to pull the trigger on one and curious to hear your thoughts
We've used it half a dozen times now. It makes up to a huge king-size bed. We had to buy a mattress topper as we found it quite hard to sleep on. I like the fancy you can use it as a bench seat as well as the bed. Very pleased with it.

As you know we bailed Tuesday morning from Krk. It hammered it down overnight and I’d left the towels and chairs out so it all got packed away dripping.
Apart from a couple of short dry spells over the Brenner Pass it’s not stopped raining the whole journey. Currently south of Luxembourg and it’s pissing it down still.
Doesn’t help that every autobahn seems to be a collection of roadworks joined together by brief stretches of clear road.
What are your plans now?
@Bigsidavies Sorry for the delay in responding but from a nice morning in Ljubljana, it turned very wet for us as well mid-afternoon and basically the rain stayed with us for the whole journey back from Ljubljana to Calais via Austria and Germany. By the time we got to Calais on Friday afternoon, we were both so peed off with the rain that we decided to change the tunnel booking to early Saturday. From Ashford, we went to see some old friends on the outskirts of London for a couple of days and then came home from there. Not the ending to the trip that we would have liked but it didn't take the shine off of what otherwise a brilliant time.
