Dirty bastardsWoke up this morning to find some low life had taken my flag pole off the ground stake and stole my moomin-j / T6 Forum branded flag.
Left the 6m flag pole & the velcro’d on dream LEDs, just taken my flag…

West End Farm, South Reston, Lincolnshire wolds, first trip out after replacing the leisure battery and soundproofing/insulating the tailgate, rear quarters and sliding door, it has made a real difference to the sound levels in the van, a lot quieter, the next job on the list is to soundproof the driver/passenger doors and upgrade the door speakers - but don’t tell the wife!
Clarion Lodge campsite above Otley whilst the girls are at Kendal Calling. A walk over the valley to a festival in Ilkley (in Yorkshire apparently- if only someone had mentioned it…)
Just had 3 nights at Chateau de Rolandier in the Loire. A fantastic site with only around 40 pitches.
Pitches are just to the left of the trees
Arrived today for three nights in the Dordogne at another lovely, peaceful Chateau.
Off to visit the caves and prehistoric art in Lascaux in the morning

Wind speed a lowly 3 - 5mph last night.W
Surrounding campers all decent folk. Fire pits / booze & chatty.
We are just 5m from the Dales Way, which some oiks / youths / folk may have come up from.
Not sure why though as the flag was pretty unique.
I’ve had a little walk along the river & managed a few pints of Old Peculiar, so it now doesn’t seem as bad as it did this morning.
quick weekend away at Pottsville New South Wales in Oz, then home the back way through Kyogle and past Mount Lindsay… quiet roads, just one other Cali!

Currently driving from lago di Como to Les Gets. Stuck at mont blanc tunnel, 45 mins quite to get to the barrier, were the next vehicle through and they just shut the tunnel due to a breakdown! Bugger
