Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

We were there a coupkle of weeks ago. Lovely walk into the town. Make sure you visit Meningate for the last post.
I'd give the pub on the corner next to the meningate (OI) a wide berth though - mega rip off.

Cracking pub just off the square called The Times. Run by a really friendly local guy. Loved it there.

Another stop on our north trip, now Portmeirion on the North Wales coast. It’s probably most famous as ‘the Village’ in the late ‘60’s ‘The Prisoner’ TV programme but that goes over my head as it was ITV and we were only allowed to watch BBC (LOL). It’s a Baroque style folly village designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis starting in 1925. It’s a bit like a Disneyland for adults!

Some would consider £55 per night for the Van as extortionate. However it’s a spacious secluded site with good facilities and it includes all hours access to the Village and woodland walks (normally £20 per adult just for daytime) and also access to the Village residential facilities like the bar, restaurant and open air pool with towels provided.

Overall we think it’s good value for a few days stopover. And in the Welsh sunshine it’s more like a ‘Costa de Gales [Wales]’.

Just dropped the van off to have the following done.

Cambelt
Waterpump
Clutch
Dual mass flywheel

And if he has time

Coilovers
Rear wheel bearing

It's being done out of hours after work, so it'll take a few days.

The van may be for sale within next few weeks, personal reasons :(

Really sad to hear this Grape. Really hope it's a weak weak 'may be up for sale' and that the personal reasons improve for you et al.
