Ooft nice.

Is the preventative/peace of mind work?Been to the garage for a quote after work.
Booked in next week for the following
Cambelt
Waterpump
Clutch
Dual mass flywheel
Needs a n/s/r wheel bearing too, but i can't stretch that far before payday
Dual mass is rattling, been doing it almost a year now but never bothered me as clutch is good. It's only peace of mind now, get it done to retain the full service history I have.Is the preventative/peace of mind work?
I enjoyed your holiday up in the HighlandsHome.
12 days away
1,200 miles clocked.
Midge bites: 0 (Mrs.GUMY disputes this figure)
Rain: a few gentle drops Sunday morning
Roads have been on the whole excellent, and not much traffic. Some rough patches around Skye, but only really on the single track roads. The worst stretch was the northern end of Loch Lomond (A82) which is very narrow making it a bit hairy when HGVs are coming the other way (and motorhomes with massive sticky-out door mirrors), so decided to return via A85/A84/M9 east of Glasgow, to rejoin the M74 south. After all, we'd already seen L.Lomond, and when you're coming from Skye it's all a bit meh!
Last year when we were heading home from a very rainy blustery Skye, we were one car length short of a head on on that stretch, fortunately we were saved by the American tourists in front of us being hit by American tourists coming the other way. Quite hairy, very lucky not to be involved.Home.

Check your front crank seal before it goes the garage to mate. They are common for leaking, I’m sure there is a thread on here about it.Been to the garage for a quote after work.

I see more and more vehicles these days with some wheels the wrong side of the road regardless, even if it is a blind right hand bend. Mostly its driving too fast for the ability of the driver concerned, they turn into a bend too early and once they commit to a line they have little ability to correct their line. They do not drive around the bend they drive through it.
Grimbergen?
Not sure they will let the dog in for the brewery tour? Will be drinking some in any event. The campsite is very nice, small and rustic with good walk nearby.Grimbergen?
No brewery tours nearby by any chance
P.S. Need to update your avatar picture!
One of IW Tipping Trailers?Just got back from a very enjoyable drive through the South Shropshire Hills to a farm where I collected a couple of IBC tanks, I shall be able to store an extra 2,000 litres of rainwater this year for watering the garden.

Finding more and more no consideration or patience on the roads (guess it is a life pressure thing) - everyone is in a hurry and don’t have time for others on the road.Agree there. Nearly been hit a few times on blind bends. The worst is when the road is on a blind corner and narrow for 1 car and they speed around it without a care in the world whilst I'm at crawling pace.
No, not a tipper, just a standard 8ft x 5ft.One of IW Tipping Trailers?
