I should probably be banished for defecting, but we've just had 4 nights squashed in at Knockhill for the BTCC, now a stopover just outside Pickering to break up the journey back to Salop.

Arrived at Camping Brantome Peyrelevade, Dordogne France. 5hrs drive South, kids were a "joy" all the way. 35c for the rest of the week. Happy days

While we were back in the New Forest we took a trip to Mudeford Quay. Lovely place to spend the day. Next time will bring the paddle boards. So many great vans here too.

Newhaven, on the south coast, from Edinburgh. Ferry tomorrow to Dieppe then Rambouillet in the afternoon. Sunday I start Paris Brest Paris, 750miles of cycling across France in 90 hours. Actually praying for cooing rain!

This afternoon we landed at Dieppe, from Newhaven. This it was an easy drive in 30 degrees to Rambouillet outside Paris, ahead of Paris Brest Paris on Sunday night.

Arrived in France yesterday. We had an 1820 tunnel crossing booked. Got there early and offered the 1636. Lining up to board and quite a few of us didn’t move forward. They said it was cancelled so ended up on a delayed one at 1710. Still a lot earlier so no worries. Will be arriving at the first site in Beaune in around 5 hrs.
