I was there on the 13th and 14th - near the corner closest to the restaurant / YMCA. Yes, a great site and we'll go back there early next year. Unfortunately the clime up Ben Nevis beat us this time!Great 4 night stay at the beautiful Glen Nevis Holiday site, great base for Ben Nevis & Fort William

One of our favourite places. The Min Y Don site is expensive but worth it.Harlech for a walk on the very quiet beach

You’ve seen the stills, well hopefully here’s the movie.I’m two weeks into a six week trip around Cally.
Yes there are oodles of Bloomin motor homes, many driven by morons - watch out for the hired ones they are the worst.
However..
The number of Motorhomes are only exceeded by the number of VW campers- blimmin’ things seem to breed up here.
Trillions of the buggers!
I can’t imagine what it was like during school hols either.
Anyway, back on track, today’s pics.
Watching Harry Potter going to school on the steam train in Glenfinnan this afternoon and Neptune’s staircase at Fort Bill.

Blimey, you must be loaded if you stayed in the hotel for the night!

We've not been away in the van for a bit, mostly due to trying to avoid the crowds in the summer holidays. We have just been for a few days near Settle in North Yorkshire via Beeston Castle in Cheshire. There was lots of walking and generally being far too active. It was the first time the awning (a dubpod roamer) was put up and we realised that that the instructions sent were for a different tent but we managed to muddle through. I'm generally pleased with it and it stood up to some pretty strong winds on Wednesday night but it is very difficult to attach to the van. It's also the first time we have used the Campal for more than 1 night. It was great.Thinking of going there tomorrow, if it's not raining.A nice local camp site overlooking Rother Valley Country Park in Sheffield
