Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Bit of a busy 2 days.

Left home (Shrewsbury) 4 am Monday heading to Norwich.
1st Call. It was a bit dead round here.

Then onto a MOD RAF site, no pics allowed but I got to sit in THE Tornado simulator where all the Tornado pilots have been trained. Very chuffed.

Then off to Emsworth near Portsmouth. Bit of a challenge this one as been derelict since 2011, totally stripped of all the lead from the roof and dormer windows along with extensive internal damage. Been asked to bring back to full operational quality. This will be a challenge as been open to the elements for many years.

As I was by the seaside it was time for an Ice cream.

Then a quick lunch stop at Stonehenge.

Then off to the beautiful city of Bath.

Can't call at Bath without getting some Sally Lunn buns.

Before my Final call at DLG Bristol.

Finally home, 2 days and just under 1,000 miles. The van worked hard these last 2 days and didn't miss a beat.

Today was Wallingford to empty the mother in laws house as she has downsized.
Double tranporters.

However, the trip home was not quite as smooth.
M40 1hr traffic jam. Not sure why but hope no-one was hurt.

Think the hire car was a 102 as it had no power but the fuel economy was absolutely fantastic for a van and I was pushing it hard when we were actually moving. Wouldn't swap it for my 204 though.
