Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

The buses down to Lyme are a bit hit and miss , alright if the pubs open cuz the bus stop is directly outside . If not you get to stand and wait for an hour .

I generally get a sedan chair from the campsite to either the Cobb or the Theatre carpark from there to the bathing engine is a leisurely stroll.
Having lived in Sherborne at the start of the noughties for a few years there are some really lovely places down there, not just on the coast and even though the tourists can really clog the place up the 2012 Olympics were probably the liveliest and most upbeat it had been in a while.
My favourite just along from Lyme Regis is a sharp turn at Seatown and out to the grass carpark above the beach, opposite the pub...

Many a pint has been had in that pub over the years lovely area

They needed to , lots of people boycotting golden cap because of the access road in.
If you ever go there golden cap site you can always nip out the bottom of the site past the caravan parks and it brings you out on the same lane in Chideock 20mts from the main road no shi*ty hill to negotiate

I live in Dartford proper M25 territory and that road ruins every trip either going, returning or both, going to Cornwall Monday so early start just to avoid the shi*e
Left at 6 still got 45 minutes of delays once off M25 lovely ride down on personally my favourite road the A303 not 1 delay

Symondsbury... never been there but used to go Bridport market, did go to West Bay as well but Bridport was a bit livelier weekdays.
We had an half share in a 7 days a week takeaway, two days on two off so days out at the seaside were a welcome break in hostilities, we even used to manage a day out in Jersey thanks to the Condor vomit comet at Weymouth... bit of a long day that one. 🤕 🥸

I want my youth back, teeth and hair that I've lost, the ruptures and indignity that went with that, the detached retina... I do have functioning kidneys but reckon a share of the beer and bottles of whisky would have finished them off, looks like you had a bit of quality time.

Just back from over a week up the Spey salmon fishing with my Laddie
He turned 21 last Wednesday.
We had a fantastic time even though the fishing was crap.
An incredible amount of beers and 4 bottles of whisky were drunk.
We had a great time getting pished and watching the footy.
