Right now in Antalya and there’s so many VW’s out here. I didn’t drive as it was a little too far this year but there’s always next year.

We stayed at the trendy Lara hotel a few months ago in Antalya. Lovely chilled out place. We both noticed the large amount of transporters on the road with most having some form of bodykit attached. Saw quite a few merc vito vans too with Maybach badges on them

Candy white seems to be the majority and hardly any swb variants and a lot of pick ups. Lara beach is rather nice too.

Staying at a farm at Keldholme near Kirkbymoorside which is part of the CAMpRA set-up. Lovely aire with 5 spots, super-quiet and a friendly welcome. Just £12 per night without EHU and £20 with. Lots of dog walks nearby too so the bosses will be happy

out of interest how you staying warm in the evenings, do you have a diesel heater?

We were at Castle Howard on EHU so ran a small fan heater, however it was getting to warm even on the lowest setting. Previously used a small oil radiator but that didn't warm us up enough.....
Here, we are going to use the diesel heater as we have no EHU. Will just fire it up for an hour before bed and maybe an hour when we are waking up.

We’ve been to the Caravan and Motorhome show at the NEC. We only bought a toilet tent, but had a good day out. A line of VW camper vans parked up with us at the end of the day.



We stopped in Moreton in Marsh on the way home for a wander around. Great litttle fish and chip shop with queues out of the door. Tasty supper!
