Start of the journey back to the UK through France. Stayed at a lovely little aire in a village called Bruniquel with a medieval castle.
Colder than Spain.Not rainingis it damn cold ?
It’s about 5 degrees. Nice when the sun breaks through.
Just having breakfast in a charming little cafe in the village with a roaring wood burner.

Our first trip out this year and our first trip out with our first born child, who's three months old.
Did our usual lunch in a car park, followed by a pram friendly walk (what has my life become) on the Tissington trail down the bottom end of the peak district.
Made toasties in a waffle maker. Sounds crackers but this is the best cheese and ham toastie/waffle I have ever had. A Taffle? A Woastie?

looks like he/she is giving the full puppy "oh please, I've not been fed for days" eyes, complete with drool running out the mouth
Looks a nicer day than when we went! We were disappointed we couldn't get anywhere near the light house. But then we saw a seal so it was all ok.
Dogs Rule OK!
There were at least 4 seals in a bay round to the East, some close in. Also 3 or 4 dolphin/porpoise just by the lighthouse at the end of the day.
Me too - thought it was Jupiter!tyhought I was looking at a planet then
