Given that we've just missed a trip due to my wife's (and my potential) covid status, that's really rubbing it in. It looks lovely and the only time that I allow myself to eat a breakfast like that is when I'm away.

Doesn't feel too bad, can always use the move to get the caravan out. Had a good walk yesterday to the wall and down to the quarry, stopped at the Milecastle Inn for a pint and back to the van. Lovely and quiet, we'll make the most of it whatever the weather

Just away on a cheeky short 1st weekend this year in actual sun . Pub on-site so I am keeping activities to a minimum

After a lovely 3 days at Hurst View we started the journey home. Fish n Chips were on the menu and we stopped at The Rainbow Fish Bar in Brockenhurst. OMG what an amazing meal of fish and chips. The best I have ever had. We stopped at the Woodland View pull-in to eat them and let the dogs drool (okay I shared a couple).

Pub stopover at The Fancott near Toddington tonight. Booked a free motorhome space for the night online through the booking part of their website (Homepage - The Fancott Arms). Booked dinner too, which was a good call as they’re not doing walk-ins tonight as they’re short-staffed.

This is a seriously good campsite, pitches are a good size and you can choose hardstanding, grass and part hardstanding and grass. Showers and toilets are really good. 20 minute walk to Hadrians , 30 minute walk on footpaths to pub. Its lovely and quiet and the scenery is epic.
