Hi All,

So here is the background info: T6.1, 60mm lowered by the good folks at CRS with H& R adjustable kit. I am now looking to change my wheels (currently have 20" with usual 275,40 tyre choice as was fitted).

I am looking at the a set of Riviera RF5 (linked here), however the size would be 10.5" rear with offset of 42 and 9” front with offset of 35, they (Riviera) are suggesting
275,35,20 & 255,35,20 due to it being lowered (concerned it may rub), as apposed to the often recommended ( 275,40,20 & 245,40,20)

I have also been told the rear may protrude a little allowing the sliding door to catch, but then told elsewhere this is not an issue on t28.

Thoughts/guidance on this please? Recommended tyre choice or alternative option - my head is somewhat blown here!

Thanks in advance

Hi there I’ve run 20” wheels in lots of widths and sizes over the years. Think I’ve had 9 sets of wheels on my van. My current setup is 10” all round front et42 255/35’s which is good for clearance 95%of the time. It’s divets potholes and hard cornering which I try not todo in a campervan , but happens now and again it catches the inner arch liner. Motorways , A roads is always fine just B roads when it’s crap conditions. The rears are et35 275/35 and clearance is totally fine never catch’s the arches and sliding door. Yours is half inch wider though. But your rear et42 move’s the wheel closer in over so hopefully you’ll be good.
I guess it depends how low your van is I know you said 60mm , weight in it etc. I’m about 90mm down also a t28.
I hope this helps and not confuses.

Here’s a couple of pics with the sliding door open so you can see how far the wheel is off. The door at the front of the wheel and the rear.

Yours look glorious.

My Navis twins are 9j plus 20mm spacers so just shy of 10ins width with 42mm offset (unless the 20mm spacers make it a 22mm or a 62mm offaet) I have the generic 275 40 tyres on the rear and with 20mm spacers they're fine so long as you don't drive with the slider open 🤣 those tyres on a 10in wheel would be more round on the wall though.
