What's The Best Pu Adhesive For Bonding A Spoiler?

Hi all,

As the title says, what's the best adhesive for bonding PU plastic spoilers and skirts to the van? Does the paint need to be keyed at all for adhesion and is there any other tips for cleaning/degreasing the bodywork first.
Any info gratefully received. I'm fairly competent and confident with tackling the job myself, just want to make sure that the parts don't fall off.

My bodyshop use Sikaflex and swear by the stuff.
As for keying up the surface. I recently removed my rear spoiler that was fitted by VW from new, and they keyed up my paint pretty darn well.
Yes, i'd agree it needs a keying, but personally i'd opt for a going over with something nice and fine, so you can always machine polish it back up if you aver remove the parts. VW opted for a heavy going over with very course paper, meaning I now have to get my tailgate painted at some point, because their keying was far too aggressive.

Use panel wipe on the area to fully degrease and then stick on with sikaflex. No need to key i don’t think (disclaimer - I’m no expert!)

I'm only going on what VW did to mine, and we all know they do things correctly
