People would say it had a medicinal taste @Pete C ... Never tried with strong cheddar but can imagine good. Was always a good bottle to pull out when people were round! Putting me in the mood for a dram!

It’s not the most subtle whisky, that’s for sure. But as an accompaniment for strong cheddar it’s brilliant.

Lol. It's a small local brewery. They do some lovely ales. They do have a website and I believe will deliver if you really wanted some. I recommend them highly.
