Hi all,
Had my bottom dash off today to hard wire into the back of the fusebox and get rid of my multiple piggy back fuses.
When I was putting it back together I found the below pictured wires next to the connector for the headlight switch. Does anyone know what they are for?
Could be spliced into the headlight switch wiring, maybe aftermarket ambient lighting or footwell leds? Quite common to wrap in tesa tape, if it’s spliced into blue/grey and brown it will be ambient lighting
On further investigation I can see it joins a bigger loom to far back for me to get any info. I have however found this?
What's this?
Says Navigate and status and they blink green
Note to self:
When you have removed the whole of the bottom dash and rewired your fuse box to make it ascetically pleasing, then tested everything you rewired to make sure it operates properly. ( Big Smug Grin and a pat yourself on the back ) Be sure to remember to reconnect the 12v power socket connection next to the gearstick before fitting lower dash back in and adding the 1000 screws you removed.
Doh. Wondered why my phone seemed down on charge today
