That's not his first tree. Like a climber who has done Snowdon, next he wants to do Everest. Ambition but in a selfish destructive way. He'll be a hero amongst his knob end friends. Probably end up with a nickname like 'Chopper' or 'Timber'.
He probably had help, its not an easy place to get to for a 16 year old carrying a decent chainsaw without a car or van and a moped or bicycle not good for carrying the tools.
