Hi All, new just purchased our 6.1, 13,000 miles on a 24 plate T32 SWB Kombi. The search has been long as we were originally looking for a campervan already converted, but simply couldn't find anything in our budget for the van spec we wanted. So we've now got a blank van, and very little money, so it'll be a slow conversion, but at least we have the right base model to work from ;-)

Hi All, I have 73 plate T6.1 panel van that I’ve added seats, window and windsurf racking to. Bought at delivery milage to replace my old T5 but it’s been a bit it of a challenge since… I’ll put into appropriate chat but key current problem is intermittent electric window failure. Both front windows can stop working in both closed and open positions with no apparent reason. It can be either one or both that fail but will start working again as soon as engine is stopped and restarted. Top this up with rodent damage to AdBlue sensor and problems with driver assist causing occasional unnecessary emergency stops and not been a joy so far.. Main Dealership have been okay helping but after multiple attempts in windows still haven’t solved the problem…. Needing some help if at all possible..

Just got myself a VW Transporter T6 LWB converted by CamperKing in 2018.
Everything looks good but may need some help with location of some items.
I had a bigger camper (6.5m) before Elnagh Sleek 585 but sold that last year as it was not getting used as it is too big for Cornish lanes.
I am just about to replace the installed solar panel as it failed with a new 100w unit.

Hi all, new to the forum and new to the T6 world. I recently bought a T6 on air ride and absolutely love it. There's a few bits that need doing, mainly undoing poor work from previous owners and making it right, but I'm on it this summer. Between me and the Mrs, we own a VW t6, VW t25 high top and a lt35 converted horse box which we've been living in full time for nearly 3 years. We're the definition of van lifers 
we run a food truck on an industrial estate and head out on weekends. Hopefully I'll pick up a few things on here or maybe help some people out

Well, after searching for a while and lurking on here 
We have finally (after a few false starts…!) had our new toy delivered.
2017 Highline 150 TDI
Following the advise on here our list of must haves were all ticked.
150ps
DSG (serviced last month inc new fly wheel etc)
Cambelt & Water Pump (changed last month)
Under 100k
Full VW service history
Bought from a VW dealer
24 month warranty
Under £20k
Panel van
I can’t express how grateful we are to have found this site as we very nearly bought a converted camper 2014 for £32k that had the dreaded BiTurbo 140k miles and we were compromising on the conversion as it’s not exactly what we want.
Ours is now booked in with Colin @8Ball campers in Beverly for June and it’ll be
our spec conversation

As requested. Pic of van…. Bought this after old T5 caught fire from cooling fan overrunning.. should have been recalled a long time ago, as others were for same fault, but wasn’t on the list.. but thats a whole different story..

I've had the van since 2020, and done quite a bit of self converting to make a day van out of it.

Hello all. I have just purchased a 2020 T6.1 Transporter T32 with a Caledonian conversion. I have heard good and bad things about Caledonian, so I did do a thorough check as to build quality before buying. All seems to be good. Lovely camper, Reimo pop-top, Fiamma awning, RIB bed, hob, sink, grill/stove, captains seats, the whole works.
It's being delivered lunchtime today, and will look to use this weekend and throughout the summer. Whoop!
