Welcome new members

Hi just to introduce myself looks a great forum I’ve joined as I’m not on Facebook or social media so it gets difficult to look on forums etc I have a 2016 crafter cr35 that I’ve converted myself lift kit 5 tonne springs transverse etc water tanks air con list goes on was built for my young family to go on adventures we’ve used it all of last year and up to now and are planning a road trip to south of France and Sweden soon we like to go off grid and can stay until food runs out really as the electrics are really good self sufficient and the lpg tank is cheap and goes along way cheers
Welcome. Let's see some pics then. ;)

I will put some more pics on or do you have do a build thread or something
Honestly I loved doing it but I don’t know if I’d have the time do another a lot of love went into it and it was made to be used not a show pony as my kids will wreck anything even though they don’t mean it plus we have friends and family’s kids inside bouncing on beds as they like the double bunk beds at the back I did it in 3 months start to finish with repairing panels as well I bought it with 32,000 miles for 4200 and it owes me 14,278 with the van that’s not after the build with tinkering it does remind me of custom motorbike builds that I do your never quite finished always a tweak here and there

Nice work.
You can drop your build photos in the crafter section, scroll down to the bottom of main forum page

Hi, I'm Rob and have just bought a T6.1 and about to convert it with Evomotion units and Streamline bed. It's the second Transporter I have done in addition to a Vivaro and my current Relay. Getting everything together I need and will be finished for me and Ron, my springer to set off to Portugal in October/November. I'll no doubt ask a few questions along the way especially about BtoB charging but at the moment it's getting the existing ply lining into the right shape and nibbling the side of the van to fit cassette windows. There will be some photos along the way.

Welcome to the forum Rob.

Given the timescales, I appreciate you might not have the time, but, if you have, a build thread (with lots of pics) is always appreciated.👍

Thanks Bav,
I'll finish it in time. I'm retired so lots of time and providing Evo and Streamline do their bit I'm confident.
The windows are the scary bit for me, just seems cutting holes in the van is weird. Raining hard today and some things still on the way so a quiet day.

I paid a firm to convert my van, but it was still very unnerving - it's so counter intuitive to have to butcher a new vehicle. I consoled myself with the knowledge that they couldn't possibly f*** it up as much as I would have done.

Anyway, good luck with your build and I look forward to lots of progress pics.
