Hi

Just signed up, don't have a Transporter yet but been browsing the Internet for several weeks seeing what's out there

Ideally I want a T30 4motion SWB Kombi, however, they don't seem to come up very often, at least not in my price range. Missed one that ticked all my wants at the start of May so still looking.

Have widened the search to include T32 vans and am off to look at 1 on Tuesday

Don't want a camper conversion, already have a Renault Master campervan, the Transporter will be my daily drive

And it'll probably be a T5.1 as a tidy T6 is probably out of my budget unless it has spaceship miles
Welcome to the T6 Forum. I am not sure of the proportion of 4Motion v 2WD but I imagine not that many are 4Motion. I am surprised that there are not more people wanting AWD for camping and what not not to mention those living in the country but perhaps it is required more by 2nd owners. My T6 Caravelle Exe is 4Motion and can not be without it and there are a number of 4Motion owners on here not everyone declares them either. Good luck with your search then we can read all about it. :)

Not many mid-roof vans around. Ideal for standing up in... provided you're under 5' 5" tall. ;)

Will this be a leisure or a work vehicle (or a bit of both)?
bit of both. I work away often and it'll be great for that. We bought off friends and its very well kitted out for off grid.
There are tweaks we'd like to make, arent there always? But loving it so far.

I do like the sunroof👍 - looks handily positioned to be able to do food prep and washing-up with your head poking through. ;)

Seriously though, do enjoy using (and tweaking) it.

Hello team, I came across this forum and I see that there are a lot of useful topics and answers, and maybe I can help someone with something. I'm from Croatia, I bought my first T6 4motion 5 months ago which is already in the final stages of being converted into a camper. And then I bought a T6.1 for another project. So here are some pictures.

Welcome to the club.

Hi all. Total newbie here. Looking to buy my first van. Most likely looking at a ready converted T6.1. I’m already learning lots on here!
Welcome along for the ride mate. Be sure to hold on tight and keep your wallet open at all times!

Wanted a ridgy ...got downsized to something more suitable for our bus so ended up with a cockapoo. ...(can't swap her now) goes literally everywhere with us.
Welcome by the way 👋
