I’ve just had a ’19 T6 panel van imported, planning to convert it (mostly DYI) to a camper. The van came from the Norwegian public transport, looks rather well treated and has some nice options (4Motion, DSG, led lighting, double battery, ACC, aux heating etc). I already got some good info at this nice forum and hope to be able to contribute in the future.

Hi, I’ve just joined the forum after buying my first T6.1. I’ve already had 3 T5.1’s and a T5. What a difference the T6.1 is!
Definitely better. I’m running a T5.1 work van and the driver experience is so much nicer.

New to this forum, bought a T6 a few months ago to convert to a camper (getting there) after doing the same to a T4.
I've been using posts on the forum for a while to check things out (parasitic current draw......) so will keep you updated on that.

Welcome to the forum Gordon. Always guard against that other T6 parasitic draw - the one on your wallet!
Hi all, I have just joined after finding lots of useful info on here and recently purchased my 2020 (MY19) Caravelle. I have a few things planned over the next few months:
Sportline style bumper upgrades to make it look a little more aggressive and less like a taxi
updating the aux heater to work as a park heater and fitting a telestart kit so I can have a warm van in the mornings
Lowering it and fitting some nicer wheels
Headlight upgrade as the original halogens are pretty useless! Any recommendations well received!
Also I’m just in the process of ordering a VCDS package from Gendan so hoping that will open up another world of self improvements as well.
Thanks for the help already and I look forward to learning more from this forum and maybe even contributing some day.
