Welcome new members

Hello hello! BRAND new to the forum, hey all! About to collect my T6 camper conversion next week, just put a deposit down yesterday after lurking online for about 10 years lol. Me and my wife (and doggo) are looking forward to frequent weekend trips and longer holidays in the van. We’re in London but do all manner of outdoor pursuits - I’m a trail runner (ultra trail running at times) amongst other things, used to skateboard, transitioned to be a fixie skidder then a Brompton fanatic and now basically do anything and everything haha. The van is a 2018 T6 4motion highline conversion, RIB rail bed and pop top with solar powered leisure batt and swamper wheels. And it’s BLACK which is a nice bonus because I only ever wear black!

Part exchanging the Bimmer Msport convertible for this which is a bit sad as I love roof down driving but being a camper Weekend-person fits me, from the times we’ve hired. Super excited about this new era and being part of the crew

Welcome to us all @Brazencheek , keep a tight hold of your wallet and try not to be tempted by the wonderful ideas that can be put into your head! Van looks very cool!

Hi
New here, I live in France, and love van trips in our t6.1 with our daughters (occasionally) and dog (always) in britanny or northern europe. I'm happy having found this very rich forum :-)
Welcome to us all @Nils92 ! We aren't that rich any more as a result of the ideas this forum can give you! How about some pictures for us poor folk! And the dog obviously!

Morning All,
Just registered on here and to say hi to all you lovely people! I’ve scratched an itch I’ve had for a few years and gone and bought a T6 Kombi LWB, pretty much bone stock but has had the load space Dodo matted and carpeted. Everything else looks stock from factory.
So far I’ve changed the interior lights from ā€œglowwormsā€ to LED’s, given it an oil and filter change, air filter change and I’m awaiting some Nightbreaker lamps to improve night vision.
Hope to pick up a few hints and tips in the future!
Kev

Hi Kev, welcome to the forum. Shows us your van then - we're nosy sods on here! ;)

Been lurking on this forum for a while, but having just bought a VIP membership thought time to introduce myself.

We bought a ā€˜22 plate LWB shuttle a few months back with plans to convert into a simple camper/dayvan. Rough plan is to ditch the third row of seats for a bed with Slidepod/ bench seat with rear kitchen, and keep the front pretty standard (outside of front swivels). We know we’ll need a pop top at some point so debating whether to bite the bullet now or hang fire until our kids (2 and 4) are old enough to properly use it.

Dave
