So, my T6 went into Vanworx for 3 days today, leaving our household with just the Kia Sportage and my R1 to see us by till the weekend.

Well, that was the theory.

Yesterday my wife hit a boulder in the road destroying one of the Sportage's alloys. Thought a quick call to Kia would have secured me a replacement, but no, they have no stock of that type of alloy in the country - will be a few weeks before they get anymore. Marvellous.

So... we're down to the R1, and typically it's p***ing down with rain. So, a few days off work perhaps.

Anyway, I hear a lot of 'VW customer service' bashing on this forum. I just wanted to give Kia a shout out, cause I genuinely believe they can give VW a run for their money in rubbish service (not that i personally have any VW complaints yet).
This replacement wheel debacle coming after we just got rid of our other Kia (a Sorento which the T6 replaced) after just 3 years cause it was always going wrong and Kia kept wriggling out of warranty claims left, right and centre.
Don't be conned by their 7 year warranty - not worth the paper its written on.
