Water - should I drain?

So I have a water tank, I constantly keep it topped up and use bottle water, just because limescale where we are in Suffolk.

Anyway, the water has started to taste a bit off, not sure if I imagining it but wondered if I should be draining the water out every so often, I did try to get the tank out, seems pretty lodged in.

Appreciate any advice.

Are you using a water additive? Recommended that you do to stop algae buildup. Available from most good camping stores.

I don't think I'd drink stored water unless boiled.
Sits around for too long.

I would drain it, use some of that cleaner they use for babies bottles. After a day or two flush it a few times. Refill with clean water and add the water conditioner. I have a food safe water hose which attaches to the outside tap. I add the water conditioner into the pipe. Saves spilling it down the bodywork.
