VW T6 multiple electrical issues

Hi all,
So our van decided to have a grump and has thrown up a load of system failures.

Having driven the van regularly it’s never thrown any of these failures up before, during a trip home from work, I thought I smelt a slight electrical burning smell but could have been from outside the van. However about 2 mins later. The van lit up like a Christmas tree.

ESC failure
Front collision sensor failure
Tyre pressure monitor failure

The van still drives ok and I believe that’s all that effected. (Will plug Carista in today for fault codes)

Could anyone point me in the right area to start looking for the problem? I was wondering if these systems share a common fuse board or box etc?

Any help is gratefully received!

A broken wheel speed sensor will cause faults in all those systems. Easy fix once you know which one. Do you have access to VCDS or Carista?

Hello,
Thanks for the reply, it seems there is something going on with the wiring for the controller, I found SC33 fuse had blown and when replaced it blows after about 5 seconds of the van turning on…

Could someone point me in the direction of where the controller is located on the van?

Was going to start continuity test on the cables..

All the other faults do clear when SC33 is replaced, albeit for 5 seconds

Hi all,
Just to update on the issue, from another thread with the same issues the vacuum solenoid in front of the ad blue tank had melted! Thankfully the fuse did its job and the plug part was all fine.

New valve fitted today and problem sorted, which was loads of fun on a gravel driveway!
