Hi guys,

I have decided to sell my spare Vossen alloys to help fund my camper conversion and was advised that this would be the best place to gauge interest.

Vossen VFS-1 20" Alloys 9.5 J
Accelera PHI-R 255/35 ZR20 tyres barely used.

These wheels and tyres were originally on my van when purchased from GTE customs.
Pictures below show them as they were on the van, and as they are now.

They will benefit from a refurb as the lacquer is hazing and they have some curb rash.

I have tried to be as honest as possible

**Edited to revise the price as I have been informed that the tyres are not load rated for transporters.

£1300 ono

Unfortunately I don’t have the Vossen centre caps and I didn’t realise about the tyre load ratings for transporters. Every day is a school day!

With this in mind, I’m open to sensible offers

Because of the lower rated tyres and want for a refurb I’m looking for £1500 if anyone is interested?

Hi
Thanks it’s a shame but I have a t32 so they won’t be any good I need 860kg rating
Cheers good luck

Sorry to be a bearer of bad news but I think you may have an issue selling these, and accounts for the lack of interest , from what I’ve read on this forum I’ve copied and pasted a vital piece of information for you below, if these wheels were sold to you on the van by gte then they need them shoving back up they’re arse, hope this helps, by the following write up they’re only suitable for a t26 ??

“The final important factor when dealing with wheels is the load rating, the load rating of a wheel expressed in kilograms (KGs) is the maximum weight the wheel is rated for, this figure will be given in documentation for the wheel and also stamped on the inside of the rim
The minimum load rating of a wheel will be half the given axle weight for that particular wheel but be aware that axle weight is not half of the vehicle max weight eg a T32 (3200KG) has an axle weight of 1710/1720 KG so minimum load rating would be half of 1720 = 860KG
Load ratings per wheel by vehicle type
T26 = 750KG
T28 = 800KG
T30 = 805KG
T32 = 860KG”

Thanks for the info, I hadn’t realised that the axle weight wasn’t equivalent to half the vehicle max weight. Seems like they were not meant to be on my T6 at all…

I didn’t buy the van from GTE but did buy it from the person who did. He swapped the wheels after purchasing and gave them to me with the sale of the van.

I have checked my current wheel/tyre setup and luckily it’s all kosher now.

If anyone knows of someone who may be interested in these for a different 5x120 PCD vehicle (or T26) please let me know. Finder fee in it for you!
