Vland T6 LED Projector Headlights

Thought I’d drop a line in and say I’ve had these headlights on for a little while now and with those particular ferrite cores my dab seems fine-like totally normal. When I first fitted them without, the reception was horrible

I’ve fitted my Briota ones last night, they looked identical to other ones I got on Amazon and they don’t fix the problem either

Can you put a piccy up how you’ve put them on? Just so I can see if I’ve done anything different.

Ah man sorry to hear you’re still having trouble, wonder why though, my ones are attached a little further back from the light harness if that will help at all I don’t know

I'm now getting to the point where the lights are on dimmed when going to work and going home so it seems ok most of the time, it's only when the lights are on drl's only it seems to struggle.

Can always try to line the whole cable with ferrite beads, I've got so many of them now :think smile bounce:

At the risk of ruining the resale value of your van entirely could you maybe trim back the harness corrugated pvc sheath and add more clamp on ferrets or if you expose enough of the individual wires add extra reserve attack ferrets on the DRL feed in particular?
Also while I'm going off piste has anyone tried wrapping the headlight rear in baking foil to see if that screens the RF at all?

I recently had a crappy experience with an eBay seller of vland rear lights. They tried to fob me off with a statement that after a Chinese holiday the engineers would send replacement parts. I’m pretty sure it was just a stall tactic so that I would miss the return deadline

Chinese Golden Week the first week of October, a big national holiday, something to do with the revolution or some nonsense.

So they may be telling the truth.

It’s possible however, after I returned the lights they tried to refund only half the money claiming they had been scratched and were unable to be resold but I hadn’t even removed the lens protection film!

Yeah, I ordered a HR monitor that didnt work. They tried to fob me off with half a refund too. Its just how they operate.

Finall got around to citing my headlights OMG what a difference and so easy to fit. Added the ferrite Coes and no change to the DAB was already crap in my area. Now to find some decent rear smoked lights for a barn door. Trouble is I don’t want sequential indicators.

May be worth contacting Vland, I managed to get round it with some ferrite cores 9mm but this hasn’t worked for everyone

I couldn’t get it any better and ended up returning them as they had no answers other than some money off, looking at the Gbright ones now but a little bit gun shy after these, it’s a shame a really good product is ruined by this

Supposedly they are working on some module that’s meant to plug in between the light and the harnas and get rid of the interference… how true it all is I don’t know
