I agree about the light and quality, mine started out as minior interference on the dab, but after a week it started to effect the fm, I contacted the seller and they offered some money off or a refund as they said they don’t have a solution, so I am sending them back after trying the beads as they had no effect, and I can’t live with out radioI purchased the VLand LED lights last week after reading about them on here! I cannot believe how good they are, they have significantly improved the vision when driving in the dark and if you are thinking about these I would 100% recommend them! I had a £75 eBay offer too so they come in at £380 for me which is a bargain.
I have noticed a drop in my DAB signal so I am currently looking to address this, I already have a Calearo Shark Fin fitted but I never put the power supply to it when I installed it so I’m hoping this may improve it.
I have contacted the seller so will see what they suggest too.

Ha we’ll see
Wouldn’t mind fitting an external aerial as a last resort but it’s a pricy option
My DAB has taken a bit of a hit also.Yes, I've lost all DAB radio.
The DAB signal isn't strong on the south coast, but I've now lost it all. I'm going to try a ferrite core or add a DAB antenna in the rear.
Headlights look great and are really bright. As a headlight only, they are brilliant.
I put them round the wiring into the headlights as everything I found on line said to put them as close to the source as possableI put them round the headlight wires right by the lights but it made no difference.
There’s a chap in the other topic that seems to have made them work so maybe his ones are a different rating or however these things work.
That’s what I do, my phone reception is shit too round here so doesn’t always make it that much betterHow about using carplay/android auto for the radio instead? That's what I do when abroad and it soon becomes second nature.

I tried 13mm but they were huge and loose on the wires so then got some 9mm ones instead that fitted better. No difference in signal though
Really you need to know what frequency RF you're trying to choke off to reduce the spurious radiation that's swamping the DAB signal frequency.Adding a ferrite around the DAB coax cable into the head unit won't do anything. It would probably make it worse.
The ferrites can be added in 2 ways, depending in if the EMC interference is between cables, or along way (simple explanation). Adding a ferrite over the bundle of wires to the headlight is one way and reduces radiation along the cable. But if the interference is between cables, you need to add the ferrite to just the power line. Sometimes looping it twice helps.

I've order some 9mm ferrites to try. Unfortunately Bognor Motors has my van to fix an oil leak, but hopefully I get it back soon.
