Just got my vcds and it asking for a security code
It for my instruments

I’m trying to see if there a option to turn off auto dimming on my instrument cluster on my 2016 t30 start line,

I'm pretty sure the security code pops up in the VCDS software.

Please elaborate what exactly you are doing as to "see" the options no security code is needed.

What's the issue with the dimming, what are you trying to achieve?

Full VCDS Auto-Scan would be helpful.

The automatic dimming off the instrument cluster

Hoping there a option on vcds that allows for full brightness during no lights and side lights

There was a thread on the Rosstech forum about the intrument dimming, but it sounds like the coding varies between T5, T6, Startlien, highline etc...

I think I found it
Unselected this option on bit 1 and seem to millions times better
