Interior red lighting issue

Good evening all

I wonder if the collective can once again help me.
In my MY18 T6 H-LN I am having some issues with dash and instrumentation lighting.
On auto the instrument lights don’t light up but if you manually turn the light on they do light up.
I’ve lost the lighting to the window switches also.
I thought it maybe the dimmer wheel so replaced this with another one. This has had no effect.
I’ve searched in VCDS to see if there maybe a setting that needed tweaking but cannot see one.
It’s got me baffled to be honest
If anyone has any ideas I am all ears

Pure guess on my part but, I wonder if it's possibly something to do with the Headlight Switch? Do you have an option to try someone else's in your Van?
